One Two Three… you must be thinking why am I reciting the numbers. Well! One Two Three is the upcoming movie directed by Ashwani Dhir, the writer who has already made his mark at the small screen with serials like Office Office. Its hilarious promos have already swayed away the advertisements on the television. This comedy thriller has a glitzy star-cast, including Suniel Shetty, Upen Patel, Esha Deol, Sameera Reddy, Tusshar Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, and Tanishaa. One Two Three is all-set to release on March 28, 2008.
The movie has been produced by Kumar Mangat and Sunil Lulla, with collaboration of two popular film banners - Big Screen Entertainment and Eros Entertainment. Raghav Sachar, the versatile composer, has given musical beats to this film, while the beautiful lyrics have been contributed by Aditya Dhar and Munna Dhiman. As projected from the two-minute promo, One Two Three is a comedy of errors.
The plot revolves around three main characters - Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Tusshar Kapoor, who share nothing in common but name, Lakshmi Narayan. And this common name brings about the hilarious confusion in the story. Initially what happens is diamonds worth rupees ten crores are stolen from the dangerous Don - Papa (Mukesh Tiwari). By sheer coincidence, the diamonds fall in the hands of a young couple, Chandu (Upen Patel) and Chandni (Tanisha), who promptly hide them in a car.
While Papa sends his rash henchman Alberts (Vrijesh Hirjee) and Pintos (Manoj Pahva) to hunt for the diamonds, the quarrelsome police officer Mayavati Chautala (Neetu Chandra) lurks to look for crooks. Now appears Tusshar Kapoor a.k.a. Laxmi Narayan who belongs to a mafia family. After making several attempts, he finally receives the chance to be known as Bhai. He lands in the Hotel Blue Diamond of Pondicherry since he has taken money for killing Papa.
Suniel Shetty, alias Laxmi Narayan who is an MBA from Darjeeling, is also sent to Hotel Blue Diamond of Pondicherry to take the new car for his boss from Laila (Sameera Reddy). Now comes the third Laxmi Narayan, character played by Paresh Rawal, who is a hawker but has made much wealth by selling underwear. He has become rich enough to establish a lingerie factory for his son. Then, his son too, sends him to the Hotel Blue Diamond for collecting lingerie samples from an upcoming lingerie designer Jiya (Esha Deol).
The trio meets up at the Hotel Blue Diamond and from here starts the entire chaos. Just by exchanging wrong envelopes due to common names begins the whole confusion. The movie is right to tickle the funny bones as a completely crazy bunch of people is all-set to do wrong things for right reasons. Its chirpy music has already taken over the audience with peppy numbers. For now, cool your heels and wait to see whether Ashwini’s comedy will do magic at the silver-screen or not.
